No two clients or projects are exactly the same. Therefore, neither is the exact process of how we get to the finish line. However, we do go by some general guidelines.
GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER AND YOUR PROJECT
We start this process with a complimentary consultation in your home. During this meeting we will get a good understanding of your project. This will include your vision, the scope of work, your budget, your style, the quality of materials you are looking to use, etc. We will also tell you about Zelaya Properites; who we are, why we do what we do, what you can expect from us, and what we ask for in return.
In the week following we will present an initial proposal that outlines the scope of work and in some cases a preliminary drawing. We go over any findings, questions, concerns, thoughts, etc. that have come up.
Once you accept our proposal we work together to refine our plan. Tweaks to design and layout are made. We work with you on selections of cabinets, flooring, tile, fixtures, etc. at our vendor’s showrooms. We conduct on site meetings with our trade partners.
Now that we have worked out all the details we will meet to review and sign our comprehensive construction contract.
LET’S GET ROLLING
After the contract is signed, we finalize required architecture and engineering plans and submit them for permit. We begin ordering materials and confirm schedules with our field staff and subcontractors.
Right before construction begins we will meet with you to review the schedule and clear up any outstanding questions.
During construction we will keep you informed with the schedule and progress with periodic meetings, phone calls and emails. Of course, you are always welcome to call or visit our office if you need us.
At key points in construction we will meet with you and discuss the progress and get your feedback.
IT’S TIME TO ENJOY YOUR NEW SPACE
When the project is complete we will do a final walk through with you. We want to make sure you are completely satisfied with your new space. At this meeting we will present you with your project binder. We will make any final adjustments. You can now sit back and relax, knowing that your project is covered by our five year warranty.
