Our Community

At Zelaya Properties LLC, we feel it’s important to give back by being a contributing partner in our community. We regularly sponsor youth athletic leagues, art programs, and local charities. If you know of an organization that can use our assistance, please email us at Marketing@zelayapropertiesllc.com.

As a Sustaining Business Partner with Habitat For Humanity’s Northern Virginia ReStore, we donate our excess materials to them on a regular basis. We are proud to support the Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia’s mission to build safe, respectable, and affordable homes for low income families in Northern Virginia.

Please check out these organizations and see how you can donate, volunteer, or get involved.

Habitat for Humanity – NOVA
Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia is a Christian housing ministry seeking to draw together the time, talent, and resources of our community to build decent, affordable housing for God’s people in need. Habitat for Humanity’s unique approach to low-cost homeownership relies on owner sweat equity, donor generosity, volunteer labor, and an interest-free mortgage.

Women Build
Formed in the fall of 2008, our group — a growing grassroots effort that works under the umbrella of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia — is determined to bring together women from all walks of life to help support the work of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia.

Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore
ReStore is a resale business that sells new and used building materials and home improvement items to the general public. All materials are donated by local retail businesses, building contractors, suppliers and individuals, and are made available for sale to the public at 50% to 90% below retail prices. There are two Northern Virginia locations; Alexandria, and Chantilly.

HomeAid Northern Virginia
HomeAid Northern Virginia builds and renovates homeless shelters, transitional houses, food banks, medical clinics, counseling centers, and other facilities that help homeless people gain stability and a roof over their heads.

Women Giving Back
Women Giving Back was founded in June, 2007, by a core group of building industry sales and marketing professionals. The goal is to supplement the great work HomeAid NoVA is doing in building shelters by helping the transitionally homeless women and children get on their feet with clothes to help them enter the workplace.

Rebuilding Together Alexandria
Rebuilding Together Alexandria (formerly Christmas in April) brings volunteers, communities, and resources together to improve the homes and lives of Alexandrians in need. Their vision for Alexandria is a vibrant community where people of all income groups and cultures live in safe and healthy homes.
